The Worst U.S. Airports for Delays

I know everybody here in the US who used to travel by air must have at least once got stuck in the U.S. airport due to delays! I just got one lately, luckily it wasn't that bad. When I got it I would say like 'I knew before that I shouldn't fly this airline, into this airport, at this time' - but when I bought the ticket it would depend more whether where the best deal was.

My personal experience told me not to transit at Chicago O'Hare airport in Chicago, Illinois. It's just how I felt about this HUGE airport, bad weather, and etc. I don't know why United and American Airlines base their hubs in this windy city?? Another one worst airport is the New York JFK - avoid it if possible (especially with Delta).

I bumped into this article on BusinessWeek which shows really nice statistics about the rate of delayed departures, and ranked them into Worst 12 U.S. Airports for Delays. Let's see if we could avoid that and whether I am right about the O'Hare Airport.
